In Australia this week we changed the leader of our government.

  • No shots were fired.
  • No money changed hands.
  • There was no fighting in the streets.
  • There were no barrel bombs dropped from helicopters.
  • There were no police in riot gear firing tear gas canisters or rubber bullets.

It was just another peaceful day in paradise.

The Office of High King

I’ve been in New York for the last couple of months working on my next book, listening to public radio and reading the occasional edition of the New York Times.
