Sex matters

Sex matters is the name of a book of discourses delivered by OSHO on the topic: From sex to superconsciousness.

Word of warning: If you don’t want your preconceived notions of anything challenged, don’t read any of OSHO’s works. Continue reading “Sex matters”

I’ve published my first book!

Plenty of excitement at my place this week. The long period between writing and proof-reading came to an end, and I clicked that magic little ‘submit’ button for Amazon.

You can check out what all the excitement is about at:

It is not possible for you to be alone

Another of Jeshua’s ‘it is not possible’ statements to spend some time with.

I dare say most of you do not believe this statement. Most of us equate being alone with loneliness, which has to be avoided at all cost. Continue reading “It is not possible for you to be alone”

It’s not possible for you to be without Love

IMG_0125

This is one of nine ‘it’s not possible’ statements given by Jeshua in The Way of Transformation course. You can find out more about the course at www.wayofmastery.com

It’s an interesting statement to sit with. When you read the statement to yourself, what comes up? Does it sound even remotely like it could be true? Continue reading “It’s not possible for you to be without Love”

Weapons of choice

How can you tell if you’re playing at being invulnerable?

You can’t tell what you’re doing if you’re not prepared to spend some time observing what you actually do, daily.

It’s a challenge I know, life seems to be so full and we’re always busy juggling things so that it all keeps going according to plan. So, if you don’t have all day to watch yourself in action, set aside a few minutes at the end of each day and reflect on your day. Continue reading “Weapons of choice”

It’s not about invulnerability

A few words from The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, by Dan Millman.

“The peaceful warrior’s way is not about invulnerability, but absolute vulnerability – to the world, to life, and to the Presence you felt. All along I’ve shown you by example that a warrior’s life is not about imagined perfection or victory; it is about love. Love is the warrior’s sword; wherever it cuts, it gives life, not death.”

A broken heart is not the end of the story

If every cloud has a silver lining, gratitude is the window for viewing the storm clouds of your life to see that lining. You can choose resentment, if you prefer, but you’ll have a different experience.

Shit happens. You can see it as a mess you have to deal with or a pile of fertiliser; a disaster or an opportunity. Continue reading “A broken heart is not the end of the story”

The secret to forgiveness

If you rely on the dictionary, you probably believe forgiving is something you do to someone else. They do something wrong. You get to forgive them.

If you live with others, at some point no doubt, you’ve said those precious words: “I forgive you.” You’ve let the other off the hook and, maybe, you got to feel better about yourself.

I invite you to take another look at forgiveness. Continue reading “The secret to forgiveness”

General manager of the universe

This is a popular position we’re all busy filling, or so it seems.

As general manager of the universe, you get to call the shots, arrange things to suit your agenda, and take the credit when things turn out. You also get to dish out the blame when things do not go according to plan. Continue reading “General manager of the universe”

Give yourself the gift of silence

Gift of silenceMost of us are convinced we don’t have the time to give ourselves the luxury of doing nothing.

Our social conditioning tells us that sitting in a chair, doing nothing, is a waste of time.

The challenge is to sit without thinking and become aware that there is more to being than the flow of thoughts across the screen of your mind.
